Dr. Sheffi will discuss the rise of Jew-hate - both traditional antisemitism and its ideological and political decoy, antizionism - that has flourished on MIT’s campus following the massacre of October 7 and its impact on the learning environment and overall social and academic climate at MIT.

Dr. Sheffi will share excerpts from dozens of testimonies of MIT students and staff who shared with him their first-person experiences with targeted hostility and with religious and ethnic discrimination within the institute.

He’ll share with us his views on the current state of antisemitism at MIT and address how antisemitism at all levels throughout the institute has broadly influenced and reshaped academic life, social life, and sense of belonging for its Jewish community.

There will be an opportunity throughout the Chat to share questions and perspectives with Professor Sheffi.

Registration to this Fireside Chat is limited so register now!
